Day 1: Phnom Penh – History and Charms of the Capital
After breakfast, we set off by tuk-tuk for an incredibly moving exploration of Phnom Penh – a city of contrasts where history meets modernity. Our first stop is the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) – a former prison that now stands as a powerful reminder of the dark times under the Khmer Rouge regime. Though painful, this place allows us to understand the spirit of the Khmer people and their extraordinary resilience.
After an emotional morning, we shift to a different reality – visiting the dazzling Royal Palace with its shining roofs and fairy-tale gardens, as well as the Independence Monument, a proud national symbol of Cambodia. A visit to a local market turns into a true feast for the senses – colors, aromas, and sounds blend into a unique atmosphere.
We end the day with a comfortable bus ride to the picturesque town of Kampot – a charming riverside destination where a boutique hotel awaits us, complete with a pool surrounded by swaying palm trees.

Day 2: Kampot and Surroundings
On our second day, we begin our true Cambodian exploration by bus. The morning takes us to one of the world’s most renowned pepper plantations – Kampot pepper, often called culinary gold, cherished by chefs across the globe. We discover the process of cultivation and drying, while enjoying not only its rich aroma but also the breathtaking views of green hills and vast fields.

Day 3: Kirirom National Park
We begin this adventurous day with a scenic drive through provincial villages and lush mango plantations, their sweet fragrance carried by the tropical sun. On our way to Kirirom National Park, we stop for a traditional meal with a local host – authentic homemade Khmer flavors and a moment of rest in a hammock beneath the palms, the very essence of Cambodian hospitality.
In Kirirom, we visit the Buddhist Cultural Center – a place of spirituality, peace, and reflection. Those who wish can take a short trek through the wild jungle, leading to a spectacular viewpoint overlooking a fairy-tale panorama of mountains and forests. Day 7: Tatai – Picturesque Waterfalls
In the morning, around 8:00 AM, right after breakfast, we set off by fishing boat along the picturesque floating village. We then return to Sihanoukville, where our bus will be waiting to take us towards Tatai.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at our destination and have some time to relax. After lunch, we will go for a walk through the extraordinary, unique mangrove forests, where we can admire them in their natural, wild state. On the way back to the hotel, we will enjoy a refreshing swim at the waterfall.

Day 8: Journey to Battambang
We set off from Tatai along a scenic mountain road towards Battambang, admiring breathtaking landscapes along the way – mountains, rivers, and waterfalls.
Upon arrival, we will visit the famous Killing Cave on Phnom Sampeau hill. At dusk, we will witness one of Cambodia’s most remarkable natural spectacles – millions of bats emerging from one of the country’s most famous caves. This unforgettable experience will stay with you for a long time. Finally, we reach Battambang.

Day 9: Battambang – Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, we say farewell to Battambang and head along a paved road to Siem Reap, passing picturesque landscapes, rice fields, and the everyday life of the Khmer people.

IOn the eleventh day of our Cambodian journey, we set out to explore the fascinating floating village on Tonle Sap Lake near Siem Reap. As we cruise along the lake, you’ll see local fishermen at work, children paddling small boats, and families going about their daily lives surrounded by water. It’s a rare chance to witness the traditional lifestyle of Cambodia’s largest freshwater lake and understand its vital role in the country’s culture and economy. Hidden deep in the jungle, Koh Ker is far less visited than Angkor Wat, giving it a mysterious and untouched atmosphere.
